Teemu MÄKI (1967 -) is an artist, Doctor of Fine Arts and Professor of Fine Arts in Aalto University (www.aalto.fi). He works in the fields of art, philosophy and politics by whatever means necessary. The results are usually some kind of visual art, theater, literature or theory. For him art is the most flexible, versatile and comprehensive form of philosophy and politics.

Teemu is in Dakar to make a collective painting with six local artists and art students for the Dakar Biennale. The work, a triptyh (3 x 6 meters, acrylic on canvas, titled "Triptyque Dakar 2012) will be shown in Vema Gallery (opening on 11.05.2012).
