In conjunction with the MUṬIKKAPPAṬĀTAexhibition, Nathalie Vairac and RAW Material Company
developed a series of public programmes that resonate with her artistic practice.
This exhibition, is being held as part of the 13th edition of Partcours in synergy with the 15th edition of the Dakar Biennale, giving rise to some wonderful encounters and, above all, opening the door to new initiatives and reflections. Nathalie Vairac and RAW Material company, in the expectation to continue these conversations, invite you to take part in our public programmes in the month of November and January:
Friday 29 November - 6pm:Grounding | Lecture Performance on the question of anchoring |Nathalie Vairac with Aisha Deme, Eyumane Assengone, Delphine Buysse, Nadia Kopogo, and Gaëlle Leroy.
The programme, entitled "S'enraciner: Lecture Performance sur la question de l'ancrage", aims to echo Nathalie's story at an interpersonal level, through the universal identification that reading her story provokes. It delves into the stories of women from different generations, creating an intercultural dialogue.
Nathalie Vairac brings together a group of women who make up her intimacy, like a kaleidoscope reflecting a plurality of nesting processes. Aisha Dème, Eyumane Assengone, Delphine Buysse, Nadia Kopogo and Gaëlle Leroy will share their words of healing. Audiences are also invited to read extracts from texts on the theme of rootedness. This evening of readings is an opportunity to reflect on the transmission of personal histories, inspired by poet and curator Chris Cyrille's concept of rootedness.
