RAW Material Company is pleased to invite you to the voxARTIS* of Senegalese multidisciplinary artist Modou Anta Diongue aka MAD in pixel this Friday, February 21, 2025 at 6pm at Zone B, rue sans soleil.

MAD in pixel, in conversation with Massamba Mbaye, will present his reflections on his cinematographic work ‘Time and Movement’ and share his effervescent approach to bringing his works into existence and inscribing them in a specific temporality.

“Time and Movement” is a multimedia exploration that intricately examines the interplay between time, movement and personal experience. Through a fusion of film, photography and interactive elements, Mad In Pixel aims to capture the ephemeral essence of existence and the perpetual flux of human existence. The work invites viewers to reflect on their temporal journey and engage with the transient beauty inherent in the continuous movement of life. Inspired by a fascination with the concept of time, Mad In Pixel disrupts conventional perceptions by presenting time as a fluid, subjective experience shaped by movement and memory. Blending elements of slam, choreography and contemporary visual aesthetics, it encourages spectators to confront their relationship with the ever-changing currents of time.
