Kenneth A. Balfelt is the artist behind a series of exhibition projects in public space.His works attempt to find solutions to everyday problems. He is interested in how art can bring value and knowledge to society and create alternative structures, which can work alongside capitalism. The vision of Kenneth A. Balfelt is a resistance force that can operate within the system, in a constructive manner. Previously he worked with the artist FOS with whom he produced several works including the rehabilitation of the prison of Agadez in Niger, a space for the homeless and a secure space for hard drug users. Kenneth A. Balfelt studied at Goldsmiths College in London and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters in art history. It also has a degree in marketing and worked in the economy and trade for eleven years.
