Wendelien van Oldenborgh (1962, Rotterdam) studied Fine Arts at Goldsmiths’College in London. Her recent solo exhibitions include: Horizontal in TranzitDisplay, Prague (2012), Plug in #39, Maurits Script, Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven (2009), and Lecture/Audience/Camera, MuHKA, Anvers (2008). Her work has been shown in various group exhibitions such as Speech Matters, in the danish pavillon at the 54th Venice Biennial (2011), the 4th Moscow biennial (2011) and 29th Biennial of Sao Paulo (2010), Monumentalism, Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2010) and in Behind the Fourth Wall, Generali Foundation, Vienna (2010). In 2011, Electric Palm Tree published the book A Well Respected Man, or Book of Echoes, based on one of Van Oldenborgh's works. She lives and works in Rotterdam.
